About CalcMyMaterial
Free calculators that tell you how much material to buy for a home or yard project, and show the math.
What this site does
You type in your measurements and get the cubic yards, tons, bags or pieces you need. There are 12 calculators so far, from gravel and mulch to concrete and lumber, plus guides that answer the questions people ask before they buy.
No signup, no email wall, and nothing to install.
Who it's for
Homeowners planning a weekend project, and anyone who wants to check a quote before ordering. The goal is simple: buy the right amount the first time.
Who's behind it
The calculators and guides are written and checked by Nick.
How we keep it accurate
Every figure comes from a published source, named next to the number it backs. Automated tests check the math against those sources before anything goes live.
How the site is paid for
The site is free to use. In the future it may show ads or link to products we think are useful. Any paid link will be labeled, and none of it changes a calculation.
